You all may be wondering why I took a photo at night of the windmill?  I am exploring my interest in photography.  Ya....  For some time now, I have been interested in taking photos.  I am currently learning about night photography and the blue night sky.  I have taken several pictures up on the Fulton dike and find the images up there to be really cool looking.  I have taken pictures of the North Bridge, various scenery from across the crick and of course the river.  I find that this type of activity relaxes me and allows me to be very creative with the photos and turn them into a canvas full of picture art.  I hope all of you enjoyed the Memorial Day weekend.  The ambulance schedule will be out soon.  If you have not turned in a schedule, I will be looking you up.  Don't make me look you up.....   Dave

Memorial Day 2012

Memorial Day has many meanings to everyone.  Many people get the day off, get paid overtime, enjoy cookouts and the most important remembering those who have served our country.  This Memorial Day should  be remembered for the sacrifices that our men and women of our Armed Forces have done over the recent years protecting our freedoms and from the threats of terrorism here in the U.S. and abroad.  Many of our soldiers lost their lives and many were injured both mentally and physically.  As you go throughout your day, lets remember their sacrifices and be very thankful for the dedicated work that our troops have done.  We should also remember the sacrifices of our local First Responders.  Police, Fire, and EMS personnel work very hard to protect life and property on a day to day basis.  With little funding and little pay, these men and women sacrifice a lot as well.  I hope everyone had a great weekend and that we all have a safe and fun summer.
